Gia Gotua is an independent researcher who collaborates with different non-governmental organizations and Universities. In 2001, he obtained BA in Political Science from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2003-2004, he pursued Master’s studies in Political Sociology at University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Warsaw). In 2014 he obtained MA in Development Policy from Center for Strategic and International Studies (Brussels).
Since 2005, Gotua is engaged in research activities. Throughout his career, he participated in projects dedicated to research of political parties, civil society, local elites, international aid and development policy. He is an author of several publications. Some of his works are based on critical theory of society.
